Personal consignments information:

  • At our swap, personal consignments are priced by the individual bringing in goods. A listing of some of the items that sold at the previous year’s swap is posted at the entrace to help with pricing decisions. A general rule of thumb is to price things as if you were coming to the ski swap to buy them. How much would you pay
  • Equipment found to be damaged or in bad repair may be removed from the sale.
  • Alpine boots must conform to DIN 7880.
  • Clothing must be clean and in good repair.
  • Alpine bindings must be indemnified. Manufacturers will not stand behind unindemnified bindings and ski shops will probably refuse to work on them. We will have a list of indemnifiable bindings at the Swap, and our volunteers will check the bindings for you.
  • If you want to change the price on your consigned gear, you must have the original receipt.
  • To claim your money (or your unsold gear), you must present the receipt you will be given at the time of consignment
  • All unsold consignment items MUST be picked up on Sunday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Unclaimed items or money become the property of Corvallis Ski Swap, Inc.
  • If your item sells, you will receive 80% of the sale price back via a paper check. The Corvallis Ski Swap will retain 20% of the sale price of each item.
  • The Corvallis Ski Swap charges $.50 per item (processing fee, non-refundable) to personally consign an item.
